SHORT INTRODUCTION
The speaker will elaborate on how the computer power can help you to monitor and analyze the performance of your fleet and turn those insights into action, which is great for the environment and your wallet. Allies in this game are the artificial intelligence and machine learning tools at the service of shipping.
The speaker will provide real life examples along with many do’s and don’ts. He will also demonstrate the main functionalities evolving around vessel commercial and emissions performance monitoring, CII simulation and AI voyage optimization for reduced fuel consumption and emissions. A lively discussion of Q&A is expected following the end of the presentation.
ABOUT THE SPEAKER
Aristos Philis is the Co-Founder and CEO of KeelX since 2020, a startup focused on maritime digital technologies. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Economics & Statistics from UCL, an MSc in Shipping, Trade & Finance with Distinction from Cass Business School, and has past work experience in Risk and Analytics at Barclays Investment Bank in London.
Aristos is responsible for all major management decisions of KeelX and sets its objectives and business activities. KeelX spun-out of Lemissoler, a ship-owning group established in Cyprus in the mid 1990s, where Aristos also holds an active position as Director.
