Euroseas announced Time Charter Contract for its Fuel Efficient 1,800 teu Feeder Containership Newbuilding, M/V Stephania K

We are pleased to announce the time charter contract for our newbuilding fuel efficient feeder containership, M/V Stephania K for a minimum period of 23 to a maximum period of 25 months, at a gross daily rate of $22,000.

The present charter is expected to contribute about $11.0 million of EBITDA for the minimum contracted period; it increases our remaining 2024 charter coverage to 90%. The charter will commence upon delivery of the vessel from the shipyard expected to take place on June 28, 2024.

M/V Stephania K is the sixth newbuilding vessel in a series of nine, and the second of our three 1,800 teu units. The acquisition was financed with a combination of own funds and a US$22.5 million loan provided by the National Bank of Fujairah.

«Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να ανακοινώσουμε ότι ναυλώσαμε το επερχόμενο νεότευκτο πλοίο μας, το έκτο σε μια σειρά εννέα πλοίων και το δεύτερο από τα τρία πλοία μας των 1.800 teu μονάδων, με μία από τις μεγαλύτερες εταιρείες τακτικών γραμμών, σε ένα κερδοφόρο επίπεδο ναύλου 22.000 δολάρια/ημέρα για περίοδο δύο ετών.

Η ναύλωση αυτή αντιπροσωπεύει σημαντική βελτίωση σε σχέση με τα πρόσφατα ναυλοσύμφωνα, τόσο από πλευράς ναύλου όσο και από πλευράς διάρκεια, όπως αποδεικνύεται από τη δική μας πρόσδεση για το αδελφό πλοίο, M/V Monica, σε $16.000 για 12 μήνες. Η παρούσα ναύλωση αναμένεται να συνεισφέρει περίπου 11 εκατ. δολάρια EBITDA για το ελάχιστο
συμβατική περίοδο- αυξάνει την εναπομένουσα κάλυψη της ναύλωσης του 2024 στο 90%».
