On this day, we celebrate the vital role of the maritime sector in our global economy.

Since 1991, Franman has provided a wide range of services to the shipping industry, focused on shipbuilding equipment, spare parts, ship repairs and service, ship supplies, security, underwater cleaning and consulting. From the beginning, the company followed the model of the Japanese Trading Houses with their one-stop-shop philosophy. The company focused on building partnerships in the Far East – initially Japan and South Korea, and later China.

Franman has always aspired to be a leader in Greek and international markets. This has fuelled its drive to expand its partnerships and hence its offerings to shipowners.

During these 3 decades the company has equipped 4,500 newbuildings. Today, the company connects 700 shipping companies with 155 suppliers of equipment and services.

In 2021 Franman was the proud recipient of the Lloyds List Piraeus International Centre Award.
