JOTUN-A century of Hull Performance expertise

With a century of #HullPerformance expertise, we are the unrivalled global experts in hull performance optimisation.
Wondering what our big-data driven #HPS Hull Performance Analysis service is about?
#ISO19030, a game-changer when it was introduced in 2016, outlines measurement principles for changes in hull and propeller performance. It also defines performance indicators for hull and propeller maintenance, repair and retrofit.
The Jotun #HullPerformanceSolutions analysis service, has been developed in parallel to, and fully complies with, this standard. It works by estimating the impact of a ship’s underwater surfaces on its energy efficiency by tracking relative changes in the relationship between the power delivered to the propeller and speed through water over time.
Significant sources of random and systematic error are managed by collecting sensor data with a very high frequency, by using a set of pre-defined data filters and normalisation procedures, as well as a quality assurance protocol that includes monitoring of the correlation between different sensors.
Our performance analytics clearly demonstrate #hullperformance and #propellerperformance over a full docking interval and enable your investment to be thoroughly monitored throughout the vessel lifecycle.
