Στο πλαίσιο της Ελληνικής Προεδρίας του Συμβουλίου Ασφαλείας των Ηνωμένων Εθνών, θα πραγματοποιηθεί, στις 20 Μαΐου, κεντρική εκδήλωση υψηλού επιπέδου με θέμα “Strengthening Maritime Security through International Cooperation for Global Stability”. Στη συνεδρίαση θα προεδρεύσει ο Πρωθυπουργός της Ελλάδας, Κυριάκος Μητσοτάκης, με briefers τον Γενικό Γραμματέα των ΗΕ, António Guterres, την Πρόεδρο της ΕΕΕ, Μελίνα Τραυλού και τον καθηγητή Διεθνών Σχέσεων στο Πανεπιστήμιο της Κοπεγχάγης και ερευνητή στο UNIDIR, Christian Bueger.

On the occasion of the Presidency of Greece, the United Nations Security Council will convene a high-level open debate on the theme of “Strengthening Maritime Security through International Cooperation for Global Stability”, on May 20. The debate will be chaired by Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the briefers will be UN Secretary-General, António Guterres, President of the Union of Greek Shipowners (UGS), Melina Travlos and Professor of International Relations at the University of Copenhagen and a research fellow at UNIDIR, Christian Bueger.
