On 24 April, Dimitris Patrikios, MD of V.Ships Greece and MD Cluster, chaired the INTERTANKO Hellenic Mediterranean Panel, attended by 120 attendees from over 70 tanker operators and owners in Greece.
The panel aims to provide an open forum for INTERTANKO members from Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Monaco, Malta, Spain and Turkey, whilst enhancing the member understanding and involvement in the work of INTERTANKO, which has represented independent tanker owners since 1970.
The meeting covered a range of current topics, such as MEPC 83 take-aways on GHG reduction mid-term measures and updates on SIRE 2.0 and PSC.
Following the panel meeting, Dimitris said “The latest Hellenic Mediterranean Panel meeting was highly productive with valuable insights raised by the attendees. Together, we will progress the initiatives discussed to enhance the sustainability of our industry.”
