A few reflections before the commencement of the workshop: What will be the motivation of my trainees? What are the areas that they seek to improve? Are there any blurred zones in the way they approach the methodology of Maritime Labour Convention, including the connection with the law of the flag? What industry best practices can they bring in the session to the benefit of all the participants? MLC amendments, including those adopted this month, deserve special focus and awareness.
