Responsibilities
- Supporting the implementation of the company’s crew strategy, selection and qualification criteria, long terms planning, pre-employment, and employment arrangements.
- Ensuring compliance with OCIMF, SIGTTO, Charterers requirements, compliance with STCW – Flag and Company’s training requirements.
- Controlling and maintaining record of all documents required by crew members e.g. National and Flag certification, medical documents, evaluations, visas, ticketing.
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of the seafarers, identifying their training needs and proposing a plan to the Crew Manager.
- Participating in TMSA preparation and in Company’s safety forums.
- Cooperating with company’s assigned manning agents worldwide.
Qualifications
- B.Sc. Degree in Maritime Studies or related discipline.
- At least 3 years of working experience in a similar position.
- English language skills minimum B2 or equivalent – preferably C1 (or Graduate studies in English language).
- Advanced PC literacy (especially MS Office).
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and communication skills.
- Meticulous with very strong attention to detail.
