What began in 2012–2015 as an effort to connect shipping students with the maritime world has grown into a transformative force—shaping education, workforce development, and cultural identity across Greece and beyond.
What Makes Our Project Exceptional?
It is a collective effort joined by visionary shipping companies that share our commitment to educate, train, and prepare the next generation of competent, industry-ready maritime professionals, through programs such as Adopt a Ship™, Work-Ship, Work-Study!
In one decade, Project Connect became a catalyst for Greece’s maritime youth development, ensuring our country continues to cultivate seafarers, shore-side professionals, and future maritime leaders. Through our CONNECT Pipeline and its three pillars—Early Maritime Education, Self-Development & Professional Readiness, and Youth Employability—we bridge education and industry, heritage and innovation, the sea and the next generation.
