Today marks a significant milestone for Capital Clean Energy Carriers (NASDAQ: CCEC) as trading commenced for its new €250 million common bond loan on the Athens Stock Exchange – the first corporate bond of 2026 on the Greek market.
The public offering attracted exceptional investor interest, with demand exceeding €438 million – nearly 1.8x oversubscribed – reflecting the strong trust the Greek investment community places in CCEC. This is the company’s third successful bond issuance on ATHEX, following two offerings in 2021 and 2022 that raised a combined €500 million.
CFO Nikos Kalapotharakos rang the opening bell, joined by CEO Jerry Kalogiratos, company executives and associates, as well as Athens Exchange Group CEO Yianos Kontopoulos and Vice Chairman of the Hellenic Capital Market Commission Michalis Fekkas.
As CEO, Jerry Kalogiratos noted: “Today’s issuance confirms the relationship of trust between Capital Clean Energy Carriers and the Greek investment community. We are committed to honouring investors’ trust with transparency, discipline and results.”
A proud day for CCEC and the Greek capital market.
