🚢CAPITAL SHIP MANAGEMENT CORP. is a leading ship management company specialising in tanker operations, is expanding its Operations team and is seeking a motivated and experienced Fleet Operator to join its Piraeus office!
Key Responsibilities:
⚓Process voyage instructions and monitor voyages in full compliance with Charter Party requirements
⚓ Follow up on voyage execution, tracking vessel performance both at sea and in port
⚓ Process and manage cargo documentation, claims, and demurrage calculations
⚓ Supervise and coordinate the commercial operations of assigned vessels
⚓ Liaise with Masters, port agents, terminals, charterers, and internal departments
⚓ Ensure all operations adhere to company procedures, MARPOL, SOLAS, and ISM Code requirements
Key Qualifications:
✅Master’s License with proven sea-going experience in rank within the tanker sector
✅ Minimum 2 years of relevant shore-based experience in a similar Fleet Operator or Operations role
✅ Solid understanding of Charter Party terms, laytime, and demurrage procedures
✅ Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal
✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with maritime software (Danaos or similar) will be considered an advantage
