28th Marine Money Greek Ship Finance Forum

28th Marine Money Greek Ship Finance Forum  held on Thursday, 16 October 2026 at the Asteria Glyfada DOMUS.

A year ago, at this event there was positive vibe. This year the vibe was exceptional. The war in the ME and the continuing hot spots around the world causing shipping disruption has brought vessel earnings (and values) to a once in a generation level. The liquidity acquired over the past five years, but especially over the past year, is off any radar and the industry is poised for another one or two years of like activity.

2026 has again been a year of political turmoil.
Shipping has remained strong throughout
notwithstanding with some critical hot spots
With disruption in Venezuela, war in the ME and the continuing conflict with
Ukraine, as well as unclear messages from Washington about trade flows,
shipping has had to adjust to a new reality. Despite this, owners continue to
invest and financiers abound. How is 2026 likely to end and what does the
year ahead hold in store for shipping? Are there any black swans which might
interrupt the confidence??
