We verified and validated the fuel saving results achieved through the application of the air lubrication technology DACS – Damen Air Cavity System. Damen will retrofit the DACS system to Amisco‘s cargo vessel Danita.
As a result, the efficiency of the ship is improved with fuel consumption reduced by up to 15%. BLRT Repair Yards installed the DACS on board Danita, which will enable Amisco to achieve the CII rating necessary to continue operating in the Baltic Sea in the face of new, stricter emissions regulations 🛳️ https://lnkd.in/dxwhaJpP
