Introducing PIRotherm Fire-Resistant Polyurethane Panels by Kamaridis GlobalWire Group
Our PIRotherm series of fire-resistant polyurethane panels, developed after extensive testing in collaboration with leading chemical manufacturers, improves the fire performance of polyurethane panels by reducing carbon dioxide emissions during combustion.
The PIR (polyisocyanurate) foam structure in PIRotherm is classified as the top S2 category (BS2D0) due to minimal smoke emissions during burning. All polyurethane panels produced by Kamaridis can be manufactured with PIR foam.
The enhanced fire behavior (reduced smoke emissions and slower flame spread) combined with superior thermal insulation, higher mechanical strength, and increased foam density, makes PIRotherm the most reliable construction material among all polyurethane panels available today.
PIRotherm panels are made from advanced polyols, free from hydrochlorofluorocarbons (HCFCs) and without flame retardant additives. The chemical structure of PIR foam, unlike the linear chains of other polyurethanes, provides stability and increased fire resistance, proven by its successful SBI test (Single Burning Item) performance, achieving a BS2D0 classification.
