INTERCARGO has marked 45 years of collaboration and progress for the dry bulk shipping community.
At its Annual General Meeting and 45th Anniversary Gala Dinner in Athens, members reflected on a year of growth and meaningful engagement, with continued focus on safety, sustainability and operational excellence across the global dry bulk fleet.
Chairman John Xylas said: “From a small group of shipowners in 1980, INTERCARGO has grown into a truly global association representing more than 350 members managing over 4,400 bulk carriers, around 40% of the world’s dry bulk fleet.”
