Incident:
UKMTO has received a report of an incident 98NM north of Socotra. The CSO of a tanker has confirmed that the vessel was approached by a small craft with five persons onboard. The vessels Armed Security Team fired warning shots at the small craft which forced them to alter course.

Suspicious Activity: Vessels are advised to maintain a full 24/7 visual and radar watch routine, ensure vessel is hardened in accordance with BMP guidelines and report any suspicious activity to local maritime security authorities with as much accompanying detail as possible.
