Key responsibilities
- Provide technical support and expertise to shipboard personnel on vessels under his/her supervision on the correct operation of the vessel machinery and equipment
- Supervise the Vessels maintenance according to plan, in order to be up to date, evaluate machinery and equipment records and provide ideas and solutions, which aim at optimum performance consistent with the vessel’s commercial obligations
- Monitoring vessels’ PMS, Defect Reports and Dry-Dock Job Requests status, alert vessels on outstanding jobs
- Attend vessels and when required including during dry docking and major repairs in order to supervise the works and certify the technical performance of the ship
Qualifications
Licensed Chief Engineer with at least 2yrs in rank & at minimum 2years office experience as Superintendent Engineer
