Chinese Shipbuilding Makes Progress with Ultra-Large Boxships

A new generation of ultra-large container ships in DNV class are being constructed in China.

Earlier this month, Dalian Shipbuilding and Guangzhou Shipbuilding International each floated a new vessel in MSC’s new class of 16,000 TEU boxships. Two new 24,000 TEU vessels have also progressed at Chinese yards.
