Η εταιρεία Eurodry εισηγμένη στο Nasdaq Eurodry Ltd, συμφερόντων Αριστείδη Πίττα , πρόσθεσε στο στόλο της το Ultramax Bulkcarrier M/V YANNIS PITTAS. Το πλοίο κατασκεύαστηκε το 2014 και αποτελεί το ένα από τα τρία πλοία που υπήρχε στη συμφωνία για αγορά. Το πλοίο είναι χρονοναυλωμένο έως τον Δεκέμβριο έναντι $12.500 την ημέρα.
Ο Αριστείδης Πίττας Πρόεδρος και Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος της εταιρείας δήλωσε:
«Είμαστε στην ευχάριστη θέση να παραλάβουμε το M/V YANNIS PITTAS, το πρώτο από τα τρία πλοία ξηρού φορτίου Eco Ultramax που πρόσφατα ανακοινώσαμε ότι συμφωνήσαμε να αποκτήσουμε. Τα υπόλοιπα δύο πλοία αναμένεται να παραδοθούν μέσα στον Οκτώβριο του 2023. Πιστεύουμε ότι η απόκτηση των τριών πλοίων από εμάς πραγματοποιήθηκε σε μια κατάλληλη στιγμή στην αγορά και, παρά τις πρόσφατες αυξημένες γεωπολιτικές αβεβαιότητες, αναμένουμε και τα τρία πλοία να συνεισφέρουν σημαντικά στην EBITDA προς όφελος των μετόχων μας που παραμένει το επίκεντρο της στρατηγικής μας. «Παράλληλα με τις παραπάνω εξαγορές, συνεχίζουμε το πρόγραμμα επαναγοράς μετοχών μας στο μέγιστο δυνατό επίπεδο καθώς πιστεύουμε ότι η επένδυση στις μετοχές μας με σημαντική έκπτωση στην καθαρή αξία ενεργητικού μας («NAV») αποτελεί μια πολύ ελκυστική ευκαιρία για τους μετόχους μας.

EuroDry Ltd. Announces Delivery of M/V YANNIS PITTAS,
an Eco Ultramax Drybulk Carrier Athens, Greece EuroDry Ltd. (NASDAQ: EDRY, the “Company” or “EuroDry”), an owner and operator of drybulk vessels and provider of seaborne transportation for drybulk cargoes, announced today that it took delivery of the previously announced acquisition of M/V YANNIS PITTAS (ex-GALLILEO), a 63,177 dwt Ultramax drybulk carrier built in 2014, the first of three Ultramax carriers it agreed to acquire. The consideration for the vessel was paid by cash at-hand; the Company has arranged a sustainability-linked loan of $10.5 million with Eurobank S.A. to partly finance the acquisition which is expected to be drawn by October 16, 2023. The vessel is employed under a time charter contract until December 2023 at $12,500 per day.
