BIMCO’s Biofouling Survey 2024 is live and is seeking shipowners’ views on what is feasible and necessary to harness the advantages of biofouling management.
In 2023 International Maritime Industries introduced new guidelines to offer a universally consistent method for managing biofouling. BIMCO will leverage the survey results to offer data-driven insights to the IMO on industry practices, which will aid in ensuring that the IMO guidelines are both practical and realistic.
