It was a privilege to participate as a panelist at the Annual Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum 2024, hosted by the University of Cyprus , to discuss one of the most critical challenges in business—scaling up.
The forum opened with a speech by Nicodemos Damianou, PhD , Deputy Minister of Research, Innovation, and Digital Policy, who highlighted the importance of innovation and digital transformation as key drivers for Cyprus’ future growth.
We then heard an insightful keynote by Professor Stelios K. from the Cambridge Judge Entrepreneurship Centre , who explored how management capital plays a vital role in enabling sustainable growth. His perspectives provided valuable frameworks for understanding the challenges and opportunities of scaling in today’s complex business environment.
The panel discussion brought together a distinguished group of leaders, including Philippos Soseilos , CEO of PwC Cyprus ; Maria Tsiakka Olympiou, Chairwoman of CYTA ; and myself, to share our experiences and ideas on scaling and innovation in practice.
