Workshop on the Applications of DRONE at Shipping Operatio
Society of Naval Architects and Marine Engineers being always at the edge of new technologies is proud to invite its Members to a workshop on the applications of DRONE at shipping operations.
The workshop will focus on the utilization of DRONES at the:
Inspection of enclosed spaces,
Class Surveys and
Ultrasonic Thickness Measurements
During the workshop the Greek Section of SNAME has invited representatives of Classification Societies to present the applicable rules, Shipping Company to showcase its strategy regarding tanks inspections with DRONES as well as Service Providers/DRONE operators to shed light to the current technologies.
The Workshop will take place on 28th January at V Ships from 18.00 to 20.30.
At the end of Workshop, the 2026 Vasilopita cutting ceremony and catering/party will take place.
