About The Role
Attica Group is looking for a talented and motivated Junior Legal Counsel to join its Legal, Insurance and Corporate Affairs Directorate.
Joining our Legal, Insurance and Corporate Affairs Directorate, you will work alongside experienced legal professionals on a diverse range of legal and corporate matters that support the Group’s operations and strategic objectives. We are looking for a motivated legal professional with strong legal foundations, sound judgment, integrity and commercial awareness, who is eager to learn, contribute and develop within a leading in-house legal team.

Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing and supporting the negotiation of commercial agreements and other legal documentation;
- Providing legal support on corporate, commercial and maritime matters across the Group;
- Supporting corporate secretarial matters, including the preparation of Board of Directors and General Meeting documentation;
- Supporting shipping, maritime insurance and claims-related matters;
- Conducting legal research and monitoring developments in Greek and EU legislation and regulation, including data protection and privacy matters;
- Supporting the management of claims, disputes and litigation in cooperation with senior team members and external counsel; and
- Collaborating with business teams across the Group to provide practical, commercially minded legal advice and support.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- A Law degree from a Greek or recognised foreign university;
- A relevant postgraduate degree (LL.M.) will be considered an asset;
- Qualification as a lawyer in Greece and membership in a Greek Bar Association;
- Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
- A genuine interest in shipping and maritime law, as well as corporate and commercial matters;
- Excellent command of Greek and English, both written and spoken;
- Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills;
- Previous professional or academic exposure to shipping, maritime, corporate or commercial law will be considered an advantage.
