Latsco Shipping Ltd., located in the north suburbs of Athens and representing a fleet of Oil /Chemical Tankers, LPG and LNG Carriers is looking to recruit a Financial Reporting Analyst for a fixed term contract of 1,5 years (18 m).

Position Requirements

  • Preparation of Financial Statements Closing Process (FSCP) computations
  • Recording of specific type of entries related to FSCP process or USGAAP adjustments
  • Assistance in the preparation of quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements in accordance with Company’s accounting policies and reporting requirements
  • Involvement in the preparation of monthly Management Reporting Package
  • Maintaining debt and loan fees schedules, covenants review etc.
  • Assistance in the monitoring of Newbuilding projects related reports (i.e. monitoring the site office expenses on a monthly basis/ initial supply reporting /actual versus budget reporting)
  • Involvement in the preparation of ad hoc reports (both internal/external)

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Accounting / Finance fields – postgraduate level will be considered a plus
  • Minimum 4 years of working experience in auditing of shipping companies in a Big4 company or in a similar position in a Shipping company.
  • Public accountant training (i.e. JES, IESOEL, ACCA) will be considered as an asset
  • Fluency in both written and oral communication in English
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel spreadsheets
  • Reporting and analytics skills
  • Familiarity with SAP will be considered an asset
  • Excellent communication skill
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Cooperative with strong teamwork attitude and ability to coordinate multiple Company’s departments
