On Monday, April 28th, at the Yacht Club of Greece, we had the pleasure of hosting a particularly engaging business luncheon, with keynote speaker Mathios Rigas, Co-Founder and CEO of Energean, who delivered a presentation on the fascinating success story of Energean, the dynamics of the energy market, the impact of global geopolitical developments, and the path toward energy transition.
Welcome remarks were delivered by our 1st Vice President, Danae Bezantakou, as well as our President, Costis Frangoulis, who also moderated the lively Q&A session that followed.
During the event, the CEO of Energean was named an Honorary Member of the Propeller Club, Port of Piraeus, while the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping was honored for its significant contribution to the shipping industry and its financing. The award was received by the Association’s President – and immediate past President of our Club – George Xiradakis.

Ένα ιδιαίτερα ενδιαφέρον γεύμα εργασίας, με έντονη αλληλεπίδραση, φιλοξενήσαμε τη Δευτέρα 28 Απριλίου στο Ναυτικό Όμιλο Ελλάδος, με κεντρικό ομιλητή τον Μαθιό Ρήγα, συνιδρυτή και CEO της Energean, ο οποίος μίλησε για το συναρπαστικό success story της Energean, την αγορά της ενέργειας, τα επακόλουθα των διεθνών γεωπολιτικών εξελίξεων και την ενεργειακή μετάβαση.
Χαιρετισμό απηύθυναν η Α’ Αντιπρόεδρος, Δανάη Μπεζαντάκου, και ο Πρόεδρος, Κωστής Φραγκούλης, ο οποίος συντόνισε και το Q&A που ακολούθησε.
Στο πλαίσιο της εκδήλωσης, ο CEO της Energean ανακηρύχθηκε επίτιμο μέλος του Propeller Πειραιά, ενώ τιμήθηκε και η Ένωση Τραπεζικών και Χρηματοοικονομικών Στελεχών Ελληνικής Ναυτιλίας για τη σημαντική συμβολή της στην ναυτιλία και τη χρηματοδότησή της. Το βραβείο παρέλαβε ο Πρόεδρος της Ένωσης και πρώην Πρόεδρος του Club μας, Γιώργος Ξηραδάκης.
Από αριστερά ο Πρόεδρος της Ένωσης κ. Γιώργος Ξηραδάκης, παραλαμβάνει το βραβείο από τον Πρόεδρο κ. Κωστή Φραγκούλη.
