🛠 Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Junior Mechanical Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will assist in the maintenance, inspection, repair, and reverse engineering of turbochargers used in marine and industrial applications. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in a high-tech, specialized engineering environment.
🔩 Key Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical disassembly, inspection, and reassembly of turbochargers
- Assist in field service operations on ships and industrial sites
- Conduct dimensional measurements and prepare technical service reports
- Support reverse engineering tasks using CAD software
- Participate in balancing and testing of rotating equipment
- Ensure all work complies with internal quality standards and safety protocols
- Collaborate with senior engineers and technicians on complex repair projects
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all jobs
🧰 Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 0–5 years of professional experience (internships or thesis work in relevant areas are a plus)
- Basic understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and rotating machinery
- Familiarity with engineering drawing tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD)
- Hands-on experience with measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, and gauges
- Good command of English (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to travel and work in the field occasionally (including onboard ships)

- Previous exposure to turbochargers or marine engines
- Experience with CNC machining or workshop tools
- Knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) methods
