INTERCARGO held its Management, Technical and Executive Committee meetings between 13-15 May 2026, supported by representatives of its global membership (now exceeding 470 companies and organisations and representing over 4,700 bulk carriers).
Meetings covered key topics including Geopolitical risks and global trade flows, GHG emissions, alternative fuels, digitalisation projects, operational optimisation, vetting, cargo safety, DryBMS, Ship to Ship Transfers and the human element in shipping.
A sincere thank you to all members, speakers, sponsors and attendees for contributing to three days of insightful discussions, collaboration and knowledge sharing within the global dry bulk community.
INTERCARGO is now looking forward to engaging with the dry bulk community during Posidonia and has started planning for its next members’ meetings in Rome in November.
