Μετά την επιτυχία του προηγούμενου Posidonia Running Event τον Ιούνιο του 2024, το οποίο προσέλκυσε πάνω από 2.500 συμμετέχοντες από όλο τον κόσμο, το Posidonia Running Event 2026 επιστρέφει και υπόσχεται ακόμα περισσότερο ενθουσιασμό, ευκαιρίες δικτύωσης και πολλή διασκέδαση!
Η 5η έκδοση του Posidonia Running Event θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 31 Μαΐου 2026, τονίζοντας τη σημασία του Πειραιά για την παγκόσμια ναυτιλιακή κοινότητα.
Οι δρόμοι του Πειραιά θα υποδεχτούν τη διεθνή ναυτιλιακή κοινότητα αλλά και δρομείς από όλο τον κόσμο, οι οποίοι θα ενώσουν τις δυνάμεις τους για έναν καλό σκοπό. Τα χρήματα που θα συγκεντρωθούν στην εκδήλωση θα διατεθούν για άλλη μια φορά στον Δήμο Πειραιά και τους φιλανθρωπικούς του εταίρους.
Το πρόγραμμα περιλαμβάνει έναν αγώνα 5 χλμ. και πραγματοποιείται στο πλαίσιο των Ποσειδώνια 2026: Η Διεθνής Ναυτιλιακή Έκθεση.

Πληροφορίες αγώνα:
Η εκκίνηση γίνεται μπροστά από το Δημοτικό Θέατρο Πειραιά στην Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου προς την Λεωφόρο Χατζηκυριακού. Στρίψτε αριστερά στην οδό Σαχτούρη και στη συνέχεια στην οδό Μητρώου, τερματίζοντας στην Ακτή Θεμιστοκλέους προς την Πειραϊκή, κάνοντας όπισθεν στο ύψος της οδού Ήβης και κατευθυνόμενοι προς Μαρίνα Ζέας. Ο αγώνας συνεχίζεται στην Ακτή Μουτσοπούλου, αριστερή στροφή στην οδό Μεραρχίας 2ας και τέλος δεξιά στροφή προς Ηρώων Πολυτεχνείου. Η γραμμή τερματισμού βρίσκεται μπροστά από το Δημοτικό Θέατρο Πειραιά.
Χρονικό όριο αγώνα:
Οι δρομείς θα πρέπει να ολοκληρώσουν την προσπάθειά τους εντός 1 ώρας και 15 λεπτών. Διαφορετικά, θα τρέξουν με δική τους ευθύνη στη διαδρομή.
Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής:
Δικαίωμα συμμετοχής έχουν άνδρες και γυναίκες άνω των 14 ετών, οι οποίοι αποδέχονται πλήρως και ανεπιφύλακτα τους όρους συμμετοχής στη διοργάνωση και θα τρέξουν με δική τους ευθύνη (ή με ευθύνη του κηδεμόνα τους σε περίπτωση ανήλικου συμμετέχοντα), ενώ θα πρέπει να έχουν υποβληθεί πρόσφατα σε ιατρικές εξετάσεις, ώστε να έχει επιβεβαιωθεί η ικανότητά τους να συμμετάσχουν στον αγώνα μεγάλων αποστάσεων.
Περίοδος Εγγραφών – Όριο:
Η περίοδος εγγραφών θα λήξει την Παρασκευή 15 Μαΐου και η διοργάνωση έχει όριο 2.500 συμμετοχές. Η εγγραφή καθώς και η διαδικασία πληρωμής ενδέχεται να κλείσουν νωρίτερα από την προγραμματισμένη ημερομηνία σε περίπτωση που συμπληρωθεί ο μέγιστος αριθμός συμμετεχόντων, επομένως συνιστάται η έγκαιρη εγγραφή.
Following the success of the previous Posidonia Running Event in June 2024, which attracted over 2,500 participants from around the world, the Posidonia Running Event 2026 is back and promises even more excitement, networking opportunities and lots of fun!
The 5th edition of the Posidonia Running Event will be held on May 31, 2026, emphasizing the importance of Piraeus for the global shipping community.
The streets of Piraeus will welcome the international shipping community but also runners from all over the world, who will join forces for a good cause.The money raised at the event will be donated once again to the Municipality of Piraeus and its charity partners.
The schedule includes a 5 km race and is held in the framework of Posidonia 2026: The International Shipping Exhibition.

Race information:
The start is in front of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus at Iroon Polytechniou in the direction of Chatzikyriakou Avenue. Left turn on Sachtouri Street and then on Mitroou street, ending at Akti Themistokleous in the direction of Piraiki, reversing at the height of Ivi street and heading towards Marina Zeas. The race continues at Akti Moutsopoulou, a left turn on 2as Merarchias Street and finally a right turn to Iroon Polytechniou. The finishing line is in front of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus.
Race time limit:
Runners should complete their effort within 1 hour and 15 minutes. Otherwise, they will run at their own risk on the route.
Eligibility:
Eligible to participate are men and women, over 14 years old, who fully and unreservedly accept the terms of participation in the event and will run at their own risk (or under the responsibility of their guardian in case of a minor participant) while they must have recently undergone medical examinations so that their ability to take part in long-distance race has been confirmed.

Receipt of participation packages:
For the best service and to avoid delays on the day of the race, runners can pick up their participation package on Friday, May 29 from 12:00 – 19:00 in front of the Municipal Theater of Piraeus (34 Iroon Polytechniou Avenue).
In the case of a group/company registration, the receipt can be made by a representative of the team (identification information will be needed).
For those who did not manage to receive their package on Friday, there will be a secretariat at the Municipal Theater of Piraeus on Sunday from 7:15 to 8:15 strictly. Participants are kindly requested to proceed at the start line no later than 8:30 a.m.
