The safety and effectiveness of lifeboat operations in maritime emergency evacuation scenarios are crucial in ensuring that personnel may safely and efficiently abandon a ship. Recognizing this, The American P&I Club, in collaboration with IDESS IT, recently introduced e-learning module: “Twin Fall Lifeboat.”
This module focuses on drills, training, and best practice procedures for twin fall Totally Enclosed Motor Propelled Survival Crafts (TEMPSCs). With in-depth content on tricing pennants, bowsing tackle, and launching into burning seas, the module is aimed at promoting comprehensive maritime safety management. Available free for Club Members in English as well as new and traditional Mandarin.
