DYNAGAS is hiring!!

Responsibilities:

• Ensures that vessels are managed in compliance with Flag requirements, applicable Rules, Regulations, Codes and Guidelines.
• Inspecting and making sure that the vessels are always ready for vetting inspection. Submit an attendance report to Marine and Safety, Security & Environmental Managers.
• Promoting Safety & Environmental Excellence as per Company’s Policy.
• Providing instructions to the Masters and Senior Officers of the managed vessels on issues of proper maintenance and operation of onboard (including environmental related) equipment.
• Improves the company’s management system, by developing, reviewing and/or suggesting amendments to the CMS.
• Participates, when required, in the investigation of accidents, security incidents, near misses and NCRs for preventing reoccurrence.
• Conducting inspections and audits onboard vessels, such as mooring, cargo, ISM, environmental, security including navigational audit & assessments.
• Accompanies the Oil Majors inspector during the inspections.
• Acting as Trainer during onboard attendances
• Assisting the Vetting Coordinator for updating and maintaining the HVPQ and vetting questionnaires.
• During his visits he holds safety meetings with the crew to discuss HSQ issues
• Assess the safety performance/behavior and the competence of the onboard officers and crew.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Sea service experience of 2 years as a Master on LNGs
• Familiar with vetting inspections process and SIRE system.
• Certifications: STCW certification, ISM/ISPS Auditor, ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 certification and MLC will be considered a plus.
• English & computer literate
