600 m² will be dedicated to the Neapolitan group’s subsidiaries – shipping companies, agencies, and terminals – and to the recruitment of seafarers.
The event is scheduled from 11 to 14 March at the Veronafiere exhibition center.
Once again this year, the Grimaldi Group will be among the protagonists at LetExpo – Logistics Eco Transport Trade Show, the exhibition dedicated to sustainable logistics, transport and business services, which will be held from 11 to 14 March at the Veronafiere exhibition center in Verona (Italy).
The Neapolitan shipping group will be present with the Grimaldi Village, an area of 600 m² representing the entire Grimaldi world: in addition to the shipping companies operating in the Mediterranean and Northern Europe, there will also be some of the Group’s agencies and terminals, and the usual space dedicated to the “Grimaldi Recruitment” initiative for the recruitment of seafarers.
During the event, the Group will present its dense network of maritime connections for the transport of rolling freight and passengers offered with the Grimaldi Lines, Finnlines, Minoan Lines and Trasmed brands, in the Mediterranean basin as well as in the Baltic and North Seas.
Special emphasis will be given to the numerous innovations relating to the services that the Grimaldi Group companies offer to their customers. Among the most important is the new Trieste-Patras-Ambarli-Gemlik ro-ro connection, which, just a few months after its launch, has already become a point of reference in the Mediterranean maritime transport landscape. The success of the new route is mainly due to the efficiency with which it connects Italy, Greece, and Turkey – the latter both in its European part, through the port of Ambarli, close to Istanbul, and in its Asian part, through the port of Gemlik, located in the heart of the country’s industrial area. Furthermore, the Grimaldi Group’s Motorways of the Sea network further extends its reach, with the possibility of easily accessing other destinations, such as Bari and Venice, through transshipment in Patras.
Two of Grimaldi’s eco-friendly flagship vessels, the Eco Malta and Eco Mediterranea, currently serve the Trieste-Patras-Ambarli-Gemlik route; from 4 March, the Eurocargo Roma will also join these units. As a result of the addition of this third vessel, the service will be further enhanced not only in terms of capacity but also in frequency: each week, the Group will offer three departures from Trieste and Gemlik, and two from Patras and Ambarli.
At the Grimaldi Village, there will also be space for numerous Group agencies and terminals: these include CETAL, Grimaldi Brindisi, Grimaldi Catania, Grimaldi Logistica Genova, Grimaldi Marangolo, Grimaldi Sardegna, Grimaldi Tunisie, Marittima Spedizioni, Michele Autuori, Savona Terminal Auto, Team Shipping.
Finally, once again this year, the “Grimaldi Recruitment” team will be present at LetExpo for the selection of seafarers for various roles in all sections – hotel, engine and deck – who may become part of highly qualified crews employed on modern ships dedicated to the transport of passengers and freight.
