In the report, Knut Ørbeck-Nilssen, CEO at DNV Maritime, shares his views on the growing importance of cyber security in shipping, while Svante Einarsson, Head of Advisory EMEA, APAC & Maritime, Industrial & OT cyber security at DNV Cyber, outlines the findings from DNV’s latest cyber security report, Maritime Cyber Priority 2024/25: Managing cyber risk to enable innovation.
Knut states that: “The threat of cyber criminals and state-sponsored actors is greater than ever and shipping’s position as a vital industry at the heart of global supply chains make it a prime target for cyber-attacks.”
The CWSRG, under a mandate from Commonwealth member states, aims to enhance security cooperation and build resilience against current and emerging challenges.
