LCO2 carrier ACTIVE – Completion of Gas Trials

ACTIVE, a 22,000 cbm LCO₂ multi-gas carrier under construction at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard for Capital Clean Energy Carriers, has successfully completed the industry’s first large-scale CO₂ gas trials using low-pressure technology.
The milestone validates next-generation cargo containment systems designed to deliver the lowest unit freight cost as the CCS market scales.
ACTIVE represents a key step toward enabling efficient, industrial-scale CO₂ transportation.
