Most high-performance ropes are engineered for strength. Fewer are built to hold that strength when temperature, time, and sustained load begin to take their toll.
That is where LCP-Siri® S12 Vectran™ COVERED stands apart.
Let’s see why:

At the core of this rope is Vectran®, a Liquid Crystal Polymer fiber with a unique molecular structure that delivers what
#HMPE cannot: near-zero creep under sustained load. Where HMPE fibers gradually elongate over time when held under constant tension, Vectran® maintains its length and its geometry.
For long-term mooring, offshore, and STS operations, this is not a marginal advantage; it’s a fundamental one.

Equally significant is its thermal performance. With a melting point of 330°C and the ability to retain high tenacity across a wide temperature range – from extreme cold to high ambient heat – LCP-Siri® S12 Vectran™ COVERED performs where other high-modulus ropes begin to degrade.

The NikaThane® coating and our proprietary Linear Structural Preformation (
#LSP) process are applied to the Vectran® core, improving strength efficiency and abrasion resistance from the inside out. The overbraided polyester jacket adds a further layer of protection against external wear, UV degradation, and environmental exposure, extending service life well beyond that of wire rope alternatives.

Minimum creep; dimensional stability under long-term sustained load

Exceptional thermal endurance; melting point 330°C

2–3× longer service life vs wire rope

LR Type Approved | OCIMF MEG4 compliant

ISO 2307 certified breaking loads
When conditions are extreme and rope geometry cannot drift, this is the choice that holds.
