VGROUP-We’ve reached the midway point of 2025 

June was another productive month for V. At the beginning of the month, Team V. hosted a customer dinner during Nor-Shipping at Solsiden Restaurant in Oslo, where we were delighted to entertain approximately 50 guests. The dinner capped a memorable few days for V. as we also sponsored the Ocean Invest Conference and TradeWinds Shipowners Forum and, through our V.Services and V.Ships teams, we met with a number of customers, partners and suppliers throughout the week.

We released the latest edition of the V. blog. Focusing on cross-sector collaboration, Matt Dunlop, Group Director, Sustainability & Decarbonisation at V. and a secondee to the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Center for Zero Carbon Shipping, provided an update on V.’s strategic partnership with the Center and the key areas of focus for research.

25 June was Day of the Seafarer, which we marked with our video supporting the International Maritime Organization‘s theme of ‘My Harassment-Free Ship’, an initiative to promote a culture of respect and zero tolerance for bullying and harassment at sea.

Our strong maritime industry links were reinforced with our attendance at the UK Chamber of Shipping Summer Lunch in Edinburgh, and through MD for V.Ships Greece Dimitris Patrikios’ involvement in the 2nd Chios International Shipping Summit.

We wish all of our customers, colleagues, partners and friends a joyful summer and we look forward to strengthening our connections in the second half of the year.
