DNV Launches Guidelines for Onboard CCS

To achieve international and domestic decarbonization targets, different methods for reducing greenhouse gas emissions will be necessary.

Post combustion carbon capture and storage (CCS) will be one of these solutions and so DNV has published guidelines for its safe installation on board ships.

The recommendations are designed to be used across the value chain and apply to both newbuilds and retrofits.
